Do a self check on your product to determine your Food Integrity Rating.

You will be asked a series of questions about your organisation and your product, the results will accumulate to provide you with a “Food Integrity Rating” form 0 to 100. The question have different weightings dependent on there food integrity importance. The higher the number, the higher your product’s overall “Food Integrity Rating”.

Do have you conducted and do you maintain the records for chemical residue/ background level testing of your paddocks/ fields/ orchards?

Does each animal or harvest lot have an individual identification and is this identification recorded and maintained?
When each consignment leaves the farm is there record showing the individual animal or lot identifications that comprise the consignment?
Is there a biological sample of each lot that is matched to the individual identification such as hair samples of cattle, sealed bag sample of grain or frozen sealed bag of fruit?
Is there electronic/ computer records as well as paper records for all of the traceability and production information?
Are there records of training and competence assessment of all operational personnel or supervisors related to the farm?
Have the operational personnel or supervisors related to the farm received training in sustainability, ethical production, animal welfare and ecologically responsible production for food?
Are there records of all contractors that provided operational services to the farm as well as record of the services that provided?
Is the record of the certifications or statements of capability for all contractors that provided operational services to the farm?
Are there records of all contractor and operational personnel or supervisors being informed and instructed on the farm owner’s policies on traceability, sustainability, ethical production, animal welfare and ecologically responsible production for food?
Is there record of test traceback events being conducted on supplied farms consignments to provide traceability?
Are there third party endorsements of any programs for sustainability, ethical production, animal welfare and ecologically responsible production for food?
